    Description

    This antique 33" long walking stick probably dates to the early 1900's and features sections of bovine horn in several colors, each about 1" to 2" long. They have small bone disc spacers and narrow horn sections about 1/4" to 1/3" between them. The top flares out and has a circle of light horn inset into it. The piece was painstakingly hand made but has no signature or maker's mark. It is in good to very good antique condition. Overall it is sturdy and usable. It has no repairs or missing pieces. There are a few of the dark pieces that have light marks of insect damage and the top inset portion has a hole. Two of the bone spacers have pieces broken out of them but they are stable and two have cracks but are stable. Beautiful old primitive.
