Our paternity tests can establish whether a man is the biological father of a child without needing a sample from the mother. Our laboratory staff examine up to 35 DNA markers to compare the two samples and determine whether or not they are biologically related.
Children inherit half of their DNA from each parent so if the sample is from the child’s biological father, there will be matches found at every DNA marker. However, if the tested man is not the father, differences will be found.

Our DNA paternity testing kit contains a peace of mind DNA test payment/consent form, detailed instructions, a pre-addressed envelope to send your DNA test samples back to us, three DNA sample collection swab packages each containing two mouth swabs, and three individual DNA test sample envelopes for the alleged father, child and mother (if she is taking part in the test).
The DNA paternity testing kit is mailed out to an address of your choice in plain, unbranded packaging and all data remain completely confidential.
Unfortunately, we are unable to supply peace of mind DNA testing kits to New York residents due to regulations from the New York State Department of Health.
Instructions
1. Take one swab and firmly rub it onto the inside of the left cheek for a minimum of 20 seconds. Using the second swab, repeat the process by rubbing the inside of the right cheek for at least 20 seconds.
2. Both swabs must be immediately placed into the same labelled envelope and then sealed to avoid any contamination.
3. Wait until all the samples have been collected and then put the completed form, 9 fee and sealed sample envelopes into the return envelope, which is already addressed and ready to mail  back to AlphaBiolabs for testing.
